SuperTie™ Patented Gripper and Smooth Rod Series
SuperTie™ patented gripper is used with RJD fiberglass wall form tie rod to secure concrete formwork during concrete placement and initial hydration, without the inherent limitations of previously popular steel form-tie systems. SuperTie™ systems eliminates the possibility of rust stains, as well as the deterioration often caused by failure of patching steel form-tie holes.
SuperTie™ GND6000 and R6 (.308 Rod)
SuperTie™ GND6000 Patented Gripper System offers a safe working load of 3,000 pounds and is most commonly used with job-built (plywood and 2×4) forms and most modular forms.
US Patent #7,819,388

Bearing Plate BP615
The Bearing Plate is a required component with the SuperTie Gripper. BP615 is a 4”x4” steel plate that fits the R6 and R15 systems.

Non-Corrosive Fiberglass R6 Smooth Rod
RJD Fiberglass R6 Smooth Rod will never rust, eliminating the need for break-back, plugging, and patching and allowing for superior architectural finishes. RJD Fiberglass Smooth Rod R6 System (.308) is offered in gray, tan, white, black, and brown.
**Only use RJD engineered rod with RJD grippers; failure to do so could result in form failure and/or injury.**
