Salt Lake City International Airport Parking Structure. Salt Lake City, UT

Ranked as the 25th busiest airport in North America, the Salt Lake City International Airport’s redevelopment program is currently the largest project we have in progress, with 1,750 workers on deck and an expected cost of $3.1 billion. Our SuperTie™ 6K Smooth Fiberglass Wall Form Tie and Gripper System have been used in the various sizes of ceiling beams in their airport parking structure as part of their program’s goal of “constructing new facilities, rehabilitating certain structures, as well as constructing improved roadways and associated infrastructure.” The first phase of this construction project is now 50% complete and expected to be completed by 2020.

Our fiberglass ties are chosen time and time again due to their ability to be cut to length on-site and to be cut flush with the concrete, decreasing wall-forming labor costs from eliminating the need for construction crews to tediously climb up and down ladders to strip and patch, which is required with alternative steel ties.
